A 51-year-old auto mechanic injured his lower back while lifting a motor. While he was receiving treatment, he was able to return to lighter duty work but was paid at a much lower hourly rate of pay. The insurance adjuster did not provide him with Temporary Partial Disability (TPD) benefits as required by law. Capron Avgerinos & Heinlen obtained the release of approximately $25,000 in unpaid TPD benefits, and went on to secure a $200,000 settlement for our client.
